Speak Poppin'!

Speech

Speech is your ability to articulate yourself, your thoughts and your ideas. Your Speech is an important factor as it's your best way of communication. This is because it's the number one way through which people communicate and has more power than social media and other ways of communication.

Speech.

As well as Speech being your best way of communication, it's also your best way of influencing people. Your words and the way articulate them are what draws people to actually listen to you and take your seriously and here's how you can make sure your Speech draws people in and actually touches them:

1.Short And Simple
When Speechifying, make sure that you keep it Short and Simple. Short and Simple is the most effective way, because when you talk for too long or try to use too many complicated words and phrases you tend to ramble on and not make sense and this is bad! People will only listen to you if they can understand you and find what you're saying easy to follow.

2.Stay On Topic
Make sure that you address and stay on topic by constantly referring to the topic to remind yourself about what you're talking about. If you've been asked a question, answer it! If you're giving advice, give advice concerning the situation presented to you! If you decide to give additional information, make sure that it relates to what your talking about and makes it easier for the people to understand!

3.Interact With Your Audience
When Speechifying, interact with your audience and make them feel a part of what you're saying; make it obvious that you're talking to them. You should always try to give eye contact and direct address. The more your audience feels a part of what you're saying, and feels that it's for them, the more people you draw in and the more people listen to you.

Be sure to incorporate these three factors into your Speech and you'll be sure to accomplish your aim. Remember these can all be used no matter what type of Speech you're giving, whether it be a big or a small one.
